I. Application for Credit Recognition for Digtal Self-Paced Learning Courses
>>After logging in, please access the subsidy application through the top menu<<

(I). Application Instructions:

  • i. Term of application and uploading the Verified Certificate and the grade of the digital courses: 2025/8/1~2026/1/31.
  • ii. Please enter your SSO account and password through “Login” on the top right of the platform and apply for the digital courses you would like for accreditation.  
  • iii. After applying for the digital courses recommended by this platform, click “Take this course” to register and take the course. 
  • iv. Be sure to upload the Verified Certificate (including the grade and course evaluation) after completing the courses before 2026/1/31. The overdue accreditation should be applied next semester. 

(II). Platform Term Definition:

  • i. Login: Located on the top right of the platform. Enter your SSO account and password through “Login” on the top right and apply for the digital courses you would like for accreditation.  
  • ii. Take this course: Links to the course webpages. Please register on the course webpage to take the course.

(III). Definitions of the Application Status  

  • i. The sign-up is done: The application procedure for the course is completed. The student needs to register for the digital self-paced learning course on the course webpage of the university by himself/herself.
  • 【The student can edit the information for the signed-up course. Please upload the Verified Certificate (including grade verification) and fill in the grade (The credits won’t be taken without passing the course. ), course evaluation, and comment for the signed-up course.】
  • ii. Under review: After obtaining the Verified Certificate, please upload it along with the grade to the digital self-paced learning platform along with the course evaluation and comment for the Teaching and Learning Development and Resources Center to review.     
  • 【When being reviewed, the documents and information provided cannot be edited.】 
  • iii. Rejection: The uploaded file or filled-in content does not accord with the rules. Please supplement with the documents according to the rejected reason. 
  • 【The system will send the notification of the rejected course to the student.】
  • iv. Approval: The course is admitted as graduation credits, and will be registered as the credits of the current semester by the Registration Division.  
  • 【The system will send the notification of the passed course to the student.】

(IV). Remarks:

  • i.  In principle, the limitation of accreditation of global digital courses is 10 credits. The credits required for graduation are still subject to the rules of the departments. Plus, the credits won’t be taken without passing the course.
  • ii.  The courses recommended by this platform are intended for the undergraduates of the university. If there are graduate or doctoral students who would like to apply for accreditation, please follow the rules of the departments or institutes. 
  • iii.  For the digital self-paced courses not recommended by this platform, the credits waiver and transference should be applied for according to “National Sun Yat-sen University Credit Transfer Guidelines” after the review and approval of the department or institute.

  • iv.  For the application submitted after the deadline of that semester, the materials will be removed. Students should propose new applications next semester.
  • v.  Be aware that if the name of the digital self-paced learning course is the same as the one you have studied in the university, the system will recognize it as a repeated course.
